Default 1983 FLT 6100 miles!!!

I bought a pristine 1983 FLT with only 6100 miles! I've had a few FXB over the years but this one is wow so original! Story goes an older man bought the bike new and passed away not long after. His son never really drove it much over the years and finally after 35 years sold it at a classic bike auction. The buyer was a car collector who's wife just had enough so he sold it to me! What a find. I mean it's all totally original like new! A new shovel touring bike supper cool!

That’s a solid bike. I still see some Tour Glides running around WI.

Congrats on the barn find. Make sure you get new tires.

I love the Rubber mount Shovels

Take Care of it, and it will take care of You... Great Find!!!

BTW I ride on tires till wore out or seeing something you shouldn't be able to see
Never heard of Nor witnessed a tire failure from weather checking!!!
But, I don't get much over 200 miles from home anymore either...

thats a nice looking bike you have..... i wrote an Email to Dunlop after i got my low mileage HD home. Rear tyre was from 2011 and the front from 2014...they replied with there is no hard and fast rule about tyre age so long as its not cracked or worn anywhere, so its up to your judgement.
