Thanks...yes I may end up with a DIY adapter.

Hopefully I will be able to utilize this adapter...visually seem I just need to drill and tap to fit the the CV AC (Red circles). The S&S carb pattern seems to be where it should be (green circles). If not, then it will be a DIY adapter.

Is that adapter thick enough for the enrichment valve to clear?

I have a Super B and not a Super E so my enrichment is in the back practically under the tank.

I didn't realize you have twin plug heads until now. What else is done to the engine?

Just larger displacement...I haven't taken it apart but the previous owner said it is a 96 stroker....which is why I always say it will never be original on the inside but trying to make the outside correct without the white stuff (i.e. buddy seat, bags, and fairings/windshield.

Just found out from S&S Cycle today that the back plate bolt pattern for the B is the same as the E/G so this adapter may actually work out. Receiving the adapter tomorrow so will know for sure. Will need to modify the adapter and backplate to accomodate the vent.

Bolt pattern is close but not the same. Adapter bolt positions appear to be wider than the B so will be grinding the hole to remove the inner wall so the screw can be shifted inward.

S&S re-verified that the B has the same bolt pattern as the E/G....the only one that is different is the D. So I have to believe the VT Manufacturing part #34-0673 is not to spec.

MacGyver'd the adapter to make it fit the B..... Got rid of the inner wall, bored out the 1/4" hole to shift the screw inward and drilled the vent hole. Not pretty but it works...

Also ordered this stage 4 black catch can for the crankcase vent hose that runs along the right side frame. Hose is just too close the the rear tire for comfort...safety first.

My crankcase vent pipe aimed at the ground ahead of (but not directly in line with) the rear tire does make me contemplate the possible cons of such a design.
