Default 76 FLH Forks

Finally got around to fixing a fork leak. Taking the advice I read here, I replaced the fork oil with 6oz of 30wt lawn mower oil.
all I can say is WOW! Feels like a different bike. Best it's ever felt.
Thanks to those of you on here that recommended it!

new paint

I was told about the 30W lawn mower oil in the early 60s when I was in hi school - the local Harley dealer had a mechanic I had befriended who was an Indian mechanic by trade, and they used the 30weight lawn mower oil when they came out with a hyd fork in 1950 - it was a good tip then as it is today

Good looking bike for sure. Have to add that the way yours is set up I like the two-up frame mointed seat better than the solo seat.

Thanks. It's not shown but I also have the quick release passenger backrest with matching mustang pad. the frame mounted seat is a 2 piece mustang vintage, and can be run solo.

I'm actually considering selling the bike, just because I don't really need 4 bikes. Probably wouldn't bring enough money for me to actually part with it, but I'm thinking about it.
