Bike has front tire removed and I plan on removing fork tubes and replace seals. Couple ?'s
1. Can the tube cap be loosened & removed without removing the allen head type screw that goes thru center of cap??
2. With the tire removed, the forks have no load on them so do I have to be ready for an explosion of parts due to pressure or springs when I unscrew the cap?
3. Page 2-33 Figure 2-41 of the MM shows only one seal item 14. As long as no springs are broke is item 14 (seal) all I need to replace along with fresh fluid to consider this fork reserviced and good to go?
