Spark plug recommendations
Here is what I posted on the other post for your perusal....
Just thought I respond since no one has at this point...I am far from being an expert so take this info with a grain of salt....lol
Here is a link to some info on spark plugs that I found useful to help me understand the differences.

Refer to my thread post #108 and some responses following that post on spark plug discussion. I have a 96 stroker 4 plug with super B carb.

According to johnjzjz who is one of the knowledgeable members on this forum on post #111 of my thread, he said " if you have points or dyna and a 5 ohm coil a AC plug is your pal"
Do your own research to validate information you get on the forum. For me, I am currently using AC Delco on my shovel which works just fine, but I have used NGK on my other bikes. My 80 Ironhead has HD plugs as the bike is 99% factory original. Have not had the AC Delco's long enough to comment on longevity.

1977-1979 Spark Plug Type:HD 5A6 (Standard) or 5R6 (Resister)
1970 to early 1978 Gap: 0.028 - 0.033 (0.71 - 0.84 mm)
The plugs you are using are crossed referenced to HD 5R6.
Perhaps to obtain more responses, provide more detail/information about your ride and the challenges your are encountering. For example, I have a 1971 FLH but you would not know I have a 96 stroker 4 plug with Super B carb on the bike which would throw the info from the manual out the window. Good luck.
