www.wwag.com is a German company that sells adapters. I run a stock air cleaner on my S&S Super E, as stated, no one knows. And my bike isn't 100% so I don't care, I want it to run. Good luck
or you can save a $108 plus shipping from Germany... and drill some holes in an ebay backing plate...

S&S carbs come from whoever you buy one from "new" with a 72 main jet -- most of the time the owner never changes that jet -- like where I live - sea level - open pipes - stock 80" 70 main jet -- if I live in the hills of ten same set up I would run a 68 main jet -- to each his own-- my 97" uses a 76 main jet --

[QUOTE=LilRosie;17737039]A friend has several genny's, three he put an S&S E's on them, his 67 he kept the tillotson on it, and has no problems w/it since he rebuilt it and dialed it in. If you put an S&S E on your bike, take your time and research for keeping the internal throttle set up. His opinion, there nothing more cheezie looking then putting an S&S E carb on a bike with a clothe line throttle cable on a bike that originally had an internal throttle cable. Putting an S&S carb on a bike is basic, it says a lot about the wrench who kept a internal throttle set up on his bike.
Totally agree on maintaining the internal throttle cable. I picked up a '68 FLH a few years back that the PO had addled later bars, turn signals and external throttle cables. Luckily, he included the original bars and returning the bars to stock was the first thing I did.]
