Control lever question

Control lever question
I have a '77 fxe with the stock, straight-out style of clutch and brake levers installed. When my fingers are fully extended, my finger tips are barely touching the levers, which necessitates my moving my wrists and hands every time I use the levers. Does anyone make levers for these models which are bent somewhat closer to the grips than the stock ones? I attempted to modify a panhead lever but the fulcrum point is off and it would not work. I see levers for sale to replace later model levers but not for the earlier bikes.

Make or modify one. Get out a torch or cut and weld something to your liking. Visit a motorcycle junkyard or independent shop and see what you can find. Stuff like this can be fun. I changed the shape of my rear brake lever by making a template of how I wanted it to work then had a guy cut and weld it up for me. After it was powdercoated, it looked like it belonged there. Only cost me $40.
