My new 80 Superglide had it. The grille went in the trash first, followed by the ac as soon as I could afford something smaller.

there must have been a lot of people like you, haha, the air cleaners without the grill are selling for $10-$40 but the ones with the grill are $100-$200

when i bought my 1982 FLH two years ago it came with the "ham can" (or here in Australia it was known as the "lunchbox" )wrapped up in bubblewrap which was

are the allen/socket caps OEM??

and some damn good advice on the top edge
then put out of harms way...so last night i got it out and unwrapped it .

Looks like it is still in very nice condition.

And yes, the allen heads are stock.
