I want to recommend Cometics rocker base cover gaskets #c10008, in 41years on my Shovel I have used several types these are very good. Spraying water into your carb with a spray bottle while running at about 1500 -2000-rpm will reduce the amount of carbon to clean up on rebuild. Just my 2 cents.

Go easy with that game, lots can go wrong as water does not compress.
