Well, as far as I know, supposedly 1984..... when it officially rolled off the assembly line? Bigger brains than mine can surmise that. And thanks on the props, He's ugly as hell, and the parts don't match up very well, but I've got a lot of work to get me thru retirement. So its all good in the Hood.

There were some E-Glides Contracted to Police/Foreign Gvt, or some such.. produced as 1985 models.. Kinda like there was 1984, 1985 and even 1986 EVO 4-speeds
Remember, the new owners were Dangerously low on "Funds"... could only afford one Venture in fact, so the Nova was Scrapped in favor of the Evo...
Can't blame them for clearing out whatever was on the Shelf... Obsolete/Odd/or just plain Jury Rigged... Just an Expedient to get to production of the Planned, and Developed new Stuff
Think RubberGlide and Softail...
Come to think of it... look at the Sportster...any development of the Sporty was already funded by AMF [basically] and so it remained pretty much Unchanged until???? 2004?? over 20 years!!!!!
No... Nope, I lied... '93 Brought the 5 Speed... a Definite Improvement!!!!
I'll Slink off now!!!!!
