Default seat height 1983 FLHT

What is the seat height of the 1983 FLHT? My inseam is short and don't know if I can make this model work for me. Been looking at early 80"s shovels this winter but have yet to throw a leg over one yet.

^^ I'm guessing you need to be looking at a 4-speed model...the shortest H-D in the lineup.. Unless you stick to Big Roads. I take the Long Way.
One of the biggest reasons my '83 FLHT don't live here anymore was it was so tall, and topheavy, and generally Unweildy... a pleasure when Moving... but, at my age, and having previous injuries sneaking back to recognition, [including a broken Spine] I did Not feel like wrestling with it anymore.

Thanks, that's some good advice. My current FLHXS is heavy but the weight is all down low, I decided not to get a tour pack for that reason. It's just when I start thinking about getting a vintage bike I get memory loss about the fact I'm 5'2 and 140 lbs.

Like I said... the 4-speed...the lowest of them all... the perfect ladies bike too...because they are well mannered for the most part...unless someone had some kind of Vision...
I know... No One wants a ladies Bike...so ... obviously we put the ladies on a Sportster.... Keeping the Coolest ride the MoCo ever produced out of "other" hands...
Anyway... maybe because I grew up on 'em... 4-Speed is still my jump on and go choice...Unless I take the Russian Sidecar rig.... entirely different Story!!!!!
