Do the details now and enjoy an easy riding summer, way it sits now you'll be playing garage ***** more than scooter tramp. Been there learned that lesson the hard way.

I would get some steel baffles. They make them in a couple of different lengths. It is a tight press fit to get them in and to ensure they don't blow out use a stainless screw and nut to secure them. Means drilling the backside of your pipes and baffle but it works. And baffles are much less expensive than a new exhaust system.
You will notice a definte diference.
