1976 shovelhead
Hey everyone, pretty new to the world of shovelheads and having some issues. I own a 1976 shovelhead that just got back from the shop, all the motor has just been rebuilt top and bottom end. How ever upon letting this motorcycle idle I get a creamy off white oil coming from the base of the pushrods. at first it just was happening with one now it's all 4 It just flows out. Talking to the guy that rebuilt the motor he tells me it's normal and to let it do it's thing and it will pump out the oil it doesn't need and be fine
. However I'm thinking this could be a huge problem. Please any and all help would be appreciated, I will also have pictures

first, welcome to the forum
my thoughts are it's too early to panic:
milky oil means there is water mixed with it. has the bike or motor been sitting outside in the rain?
leaking from the pushrod tubes could just be missing or damaged seals. are you mechanically inclined enough remove the clips and lift them up to see?
there are other guys here that know a lot more than me and will be posting

seen it with inept shop owners who put open engines out of the shop to make room and if it ends up raining - so what
and that would be everyday in a week of light rain it has 2 - 3 inches in the lower unit -
I am going by what I have been told and what I actually seen at other shops no longer around but when they were
