In fact, you should have already sprayed WD40 or PB blaster on the whole bike and cleaned off any loose debris..
Theyre both back in there Gonna try to clean it up tonight!

No need to worry about getting it out at all. And yes its purpose is to help free up Her pistons/rings.
If Your asking about the drain plug on Her oil tank...try to loosen it a bit first, before worrying about it being rusted.
Its probably just fine.
Oh, we never touch anything under Her engine..no drains there at all.
Remember my mentioning "Dry Sump" ? Our Harley's use this system.
Read this sometime..

Ah okay makes sense!
Yeah you said that痴 the kind of oil system the bike has I believe. Will do!

Oh yeah like a turkey baster thing I bet that would be easier than trying to drain without spilling and get it funneled in without spilling too lol

Exactly
A all in one tool.
Hey, the reason we don't buy certain things from the Dealerships is the cost.
They charge 8 bucks fer a plug..Autozone its 3 bucks...and,they sell NGK brand also.
But, the fact the "Stealership" is so close to You...plus Yer female..and smart...maybe You should groom the
parts department guys a bit. If You decide to do this, keep in mind....They don't know these Classic Harley's like we do.
So all they are good for is getting hard to find parts...all over. They can type in a part number and find out what Dealership has it,
and how fast they can get it shipped..the cost.
But ask them how to set Her carb? or how to set the timing on my Shovelhead? All You will get is a amazed/slack jawed expression. lol

Now You've got me thinking again.
"Heartland"
Anyhoo,You remind me of Amy..the Young Lady in this show. She was smart, stubborn and very persistent..Got things done.
Like You.
The chrome plate directly over Her oil tank, between Her Pogo and rear fender has to come off..
