Lizy,
If You decided to go to the coast someday, say Galveston Island..how long would it take Ya to drive?
Oh, next time You go by Walmart or a Dollar Store get one of these with the holder like this,
https://www.dhgate.com/product/with-...392832758.html

For heating up stuff, the cheapest/safest is a old hair dryer.

Well right now Im waiting for my dad to wake up because he said he would help me get that spring on there but he's currently snoring lol.
My friend couldn't come over today so cant get any help from him

Im working on writing down all the things/suggestions from here and the things ive done already in a spiral for now.

And to Galveston Im not sure, we never go there I always hear about it being particularly dirty. We always go to Port A or SPI

Haha at first I thought it was showing the price for just 1 and was thinking who tf would pay almost 600 for just one

I have an old hairdryer for the dogs but how hot are we talking getting stuff bc idk how hot it gets anymore lol

Yeeeeee finally got that spring on! Forgot to take a picture though lol

I ended up having to get a screwdriver and hammer it between the coils so I could then hammer the pennies in there lol

My dad also tried to get the mirror out but he couldn’t get it either

He mentioned asking a “friend” that is apparently retired from the dealership to see if he could help her that choke **** out and the mirror out so I guess that means he doesn’t really want to cut it off ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So we’ll see how that goes.

Hooray for the spring!
You can't really do any damage with the hairdryer as long as you don't heat the buttons/switches.
Try heating (warming) the aluminum a few minutes and then hit the bottom of the stem with a hammer.
Same with the screws, a good wack with the impact driver. If it doesn't work you can heat it longer and try again.

^^^ yup. Thanks Shovelsrule.
Lizy,
Glad to read Ya got the spring on..don't forget our pic of it installed..
The link for that brush was just fer the picture..brush and that particular holder. Walmart its like 2/3 bucks.
Reason I asked about the coast, we need to know how many miles away it is from Blue Moon.
Pick the closest part of the coast and google map it.
Its time for lots more pics of Blue..and tell us a story or two please..entertain us.
About your Horses would be nice.
Ask some more questions too...any subject will do just fine.

It’s like 2-2.5 hour from us

hmmmm Can’t think of much in the way of stories at the moment :/

I did find out that he apparently had a gold wing before too but I don’t remember ever seeing it he got rid of it when I was still real little I believe lol

And he said there used to be a thing on it (stolen apparently) that was like a jack so you could do stuff with the rear wheel

:/ it’s still stuck on there actually

me and my dad both tried to turn it and wasn’t having it lol

i sprayed some more on it rn just for lols maybe it’ll be at least a tiny bit better tomorrow ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Haven’t got that far yet lol

Aaaaand about the pennies I kinda think I might’ve bent the pennies trying to get them in there so they’re just chillin there for now haha
Ill have to get pliers or something and see if I can pull them out lol

And since I cant think of any motorcycle stories at the moment here’s a short story about one of the horses(which we have to take to his vet appt in the morning): He is 19 and an ex reining horse with a big scar on his face, apparently from running into a fence as a baby lol. We had him for years already before somebody called him “Al Pacino” and we realized that’s probably where he got his name and it was a major lightbulb moment haha

Have You seen it? (Scarface) its on Netflix now, both of them I think.
You crack me up Lizy..
Let me guess something,
You didn't move Blues kickstand a bit...just pried that spring on?

Its interesting that the mirror stem on the clutch side slid right out,no problem.
Seems to me like that side was covered with the tarp most of the time.
You know, the 4 screws are more important than the stuck stem..throttle side (right side)....
So we can see the buttons/switches/wires condition. If they look like there ok,not corroded
it will make things less expensive... And Ill bet the clutch side is just fine, no need to even look right now.

Something to think about/research while Your at work...
Antique license plate. No inspection necessary at all to get(and use) those here in Texas...so we don't have to worry about
Blues lights and turn signals at all right now. Just something to check out when Your bored at work...
After Shes running, or even just spin Her engine over... then we will worry about Her transmission, lights and brakes, tires etc.

Actually we did move it up it just kept not wanting to go on the little holes where the hook goes so we kept putting more pennies lol
My dad leaned it against him while I was trying to get that spring on there bc he has a hard time getting up and down.
And no I haven’t seen the movies I’ve only seen like little parts lol

It could be that was the difference. The tarps were not always on straight or they’d get some holes after a while and stuff and that might also have been the side that was against the fence too.
