couple more pictures of inside carb

So today I tried to see if the gold stuff would come off with the brass brush and it seemed unaffected. Tried just scratching some off with my hand too and nothing came off then either ッ\_(ツ)_/ッ

Also took off the bolts/nuts all the wires connect to with the circle things and put them in the rust stuff bc they were pretty rusty too and I figured less rust would be better lol

Waiting for my dad to find the tools he has for the wires and stuff too

And sorry if I致e missed/not responded to anybody or any questions or anything like that a lot of times I値l think I answered something but when I go back and look I actually didn稚 lol I値l try to go back and make sure I respond to everything next time I go on the computer

The Pep boys battery should have had new bolts and nuts in the box.
10mm size.
Why not put the carb assembly in the rust stuff? Would help whoever rebuilds it.
The gold stuff, forget about it, didn't come off easy so its fine the way it is.
The pipe inside? That was a pipe dream, there's not one in there.
Or, peace pipe

Well, then its a good time to clean up Blues jugs and heads with the big brush,
and Her lifter blocks, engine cases. Steel wool on the push rod tubes.
Drain Her oil tank and get the oil filter assembly apart.
You mentioned Aerosmith here awhile back, This is cool,

I saw the episode (or maybe the same episode but just the beginning only) when they found it in that persons yard! They were trying to find out it if was real or not calling people and stuff if I remember correctly

I remember wanting to know what they did with it but I either didn稚 get to finish the episode or it was a different one or something that痴 pretty cool!

So kinda stuck in the spray wd40/Liquid wrench on stuff and wait stage again. Waiting for my dad to find the battery charger and electrical tools/stuff still to do that part of the list

I found these just sitting like slightly rusted to the top of the front top part of the engine can y誕ll tell where they came from/where they are supposed to be?

Also upon further inspection turns out that small hose that goes to the chain oiler was actually broken the same way on the other side too and just sitting on it. We have a new hose for it but problem is I haven稚 found anything that reaches in the small space that can grip the clamp thing to pull it off :/

I'm pretty sure those are adjuster plates (or shims) between the frame and the dash bracket (with the speedo, warning lights and ignition switch).
This way you can lower or raise the whole dash assembly to align nicely with the top of the tanks.

They fall down when removing the dash panel mounting bolts (nr 13) so I think this happened not long before Old Blue was parked and fell asleep.

And a long nose pliers might reach the oil fitting.
