While you are in the middle of your "down time". I think I would pull those lower legs off the front end and get them chromed. Just an early morning thought.

I have considered that before.... What do you think if I black powder coated them to match the fender an rotor?

Chrome to match the rest of the bike, my opinion. But yours is the only one that counts, your bike.

What did u use to clean the rim and spokes up.....

I am not trying to start anything but we have chromed stuff in the past and then accented it with powder coating Bitchen Man

Those black wheels and hubes with chrome spokes look pretty nice...well stainless spokes probably better

Spokes are stainless, we live on an Island, chrome spokes don't last.

I had to use a brillo pads.. not the smartest but it did a good job. Only the spokes and hub though. Rim is in perfect condition (on the outside).. I should seal it with something though cause I know the steel wool etched the chrome and will only promote more rust..

At a minimum, put a coat of wax on the chrome, better then nothing.
