FX limited model 1 per dealership 1980's
I remember reading about a limited edition made for dealers, 1 per dealership. It was not a production run for the public. I can't seem to find any info regarding this rare bike.
What year was it made, I was thinking around 1982?? and what does this bike look like. Any pics?

In 1981 the factory made the FLH80 Heritage edition. Each dealer got one. Green/orange with big leather bags and windshield. Commonly refered as the Peas n Carrots bike.
It wasn't an FX though. In 1976 the Bi-Centenial FX superglide was available, but the model was an XL and FLH also, as was the Confederate Edition was in 1977. In 1984 The MOCO offered the FLHX but Im not sure of the build total. As mentioned above the "Disc Glide/Willie G wide glide was offered during that period, blacked out motor and painted bits, primary and tins painted a dark purple. 81,82,83 had the Sturgis also......there's probably more but thats what I remember.

That has to be the model I was trying to recall. I do like the Sturgis model but I don't know about that belt primary. It was only used a few models for a few years.
When the Strugis came back in 1991 did Harley use the belt primary again or did they stick with the chain?
