Small size battery

I'm putting in a&nbsp\\;tiny size battery (4L-BS) into my '77 kickstart only bike.&nbsp\\; I'm thinking that it will be OK, because the regulator is going regulate and not fry the battery.&nbsp\\; Any experience on this?
The batter is 4 amps, 12 volts, and drops into the horseshoe oil tank nicely.&nbsp\\; Running an old knuckle oil tank, so it's limited space.

RE: Small size battery

As long as your charging system is fine and not running a ton of lights it should be ok. Kicker bike would be easier on battery. Those old horseshoe tanks can cook a battery due to its style.A smaller size battery and the ability to allow cooler air upon it would only help.
