Man I like checkin out all these shovel pics! Here's my 83 twin belt lowrider. I painted and changed the decals on tank just because I liked that earlier year lowrider look.

Heres mine...
1980 HD Shovel with 1979 FL 4 spd ratchet top jockey, kick only. Frame is flyrite, motor & tranny oem HD, everything else..custom.

This one is before i added the exhaust end caps, brass grips, and replaced the floorboards.

Custom frame w/ 1980 motor. So in Florida, motorcycles are registered by the motor VIN# only?

Here they are registered by frame unfortunately. And it's a PIA to do. It took 2 days to run around with the bike on a trailer, but worth it in the end. Sorry if the post made it sound like it was registered as 1980. They (NC) made me register as Custom...
