im messin with a 95 inch shovel with alot goodies on it. anyway it has a keihin "screaming eagle" carb with the numbers 27fc and mj19 on the body. I think its too small because the bike feels flat under full load.
the plugs look cocoa brown. can anyone help me with the numbers. It has 4 plug heads with the dyna ignition. the heads have been welded and recut. Its a thumper but it just dont have the seat of the pants feel when i kick it in its ***. it also has a bdl open primary with the lock up clutch system. im gonna tear it apart too and deglaze the steels and see if it helps. I would just like to know what kinda carb this is so i can start somewhere.

 

Loose that carb , they where set up for Evo motors and the shovel has a completely different flow dynamic though the ports . An S&S "E" would be a safe and simple setup for you all thou I like the old Super "B" for bigger inch shovels but you don't get the accelerator pump for starting and off the line . Mikuni42s will work for you motor also .
