Default best spark plugs and what model#

I am getting to the point of fireing this thing up. I will need plugs. What do you reccomend? 84 FLH shovel, andrews C grind cam, S&S super B, 88" motor, stock heads that have been worked mildly, brass guides, ss valves, the rocker boxes have been clearanced to clear the springs.

plugs? model/heat?, gap?

I hate to say it but i like NGK,but i had reall good luck with accel's in my shovel.

I was looking at accell but I am not sure what model to go with. there are so many and being that I don't have a stock motor, I don't know where to find out what will work.

Trust me you'll love them! I've run them on my 93CI shovel and I've sold them to customers that all in all they are the best ! You can buy them at auto stores or V-Twin sells them P/N 32-1226 I have 10 + plugs left If you can't find them I have tried them all HD Accel etc etc

mauston eh? was up there last weekend. I will look for those plugs, thanks. How bout a gap?

I have always had the best luck with Champion and the RN12YC is recomended.The Harley 5R6A plug is made by Champion as well (just costs more).I often run a heat range hotter the RN14YC depending on the application.
