I have a 1979 74" that is blowing oil out of the breather continually...just wondering where i should start looking, any help would be appreciated.

 

My 'ol '78 did the same thing. Ran the breather hose out a small filter above the drive chain which kept it 100% lubed.

 

When you say continually do you mean all the time or just when you start it . If it runs for a couple of minutes doe's it stop?
If the ball check in the oil pump is leaking buy it will blow out until your crankcase is empty and than stop but if it is continuous than you are looking at a breather timing or scavenging problem
