I have only had bike a year and dont know much about it. It had low oil pressure when I got it. I put a ss oil pump on it and it has great oil pressure now. Bike does not smoke or use oil..It sounds great when you first crank it but when it gets hot ,you can hear a tapping in the front cylinder. Is There valve train damage in the front cylinder from lack of oil pressure?

 

Could be you have to adjust the hydraulic lifters or you might have a bad hydraulic unit.

 

Thanks ,I adjusted the push rods out alittle, and the tapping stopped! Notelling what would have happened to me and my check book if I took it in to the shop for that problem.{Deliverence/Ned Beatty}
