Default trying to identify an old elecra-glide frame

I bought a frame to go with the baskets full of 1961 FLH parts I have ,as I look closer it isn't a drop down frame ,it's 65 and later ,but not 70's because it has no serial number .It has E9 stamped on the top motor mount ,and where the neck lock would go ,it's not drilled out ,and has an A stamped on it .
Any one know what year this could be from ,or what else I should look for to narrow it down?
It also has no tab on the lh side for the brake line tee to bolt to .

58 to 64 frames all have production dates on the top motor mount.64 was also last of 5/16s seat T bolt.all later used 3/8s bolt.68 was last of steering head lock.64 was last of step down frame at oil tank area.69 and later had gusset repairs near tranny on l/h side of frame near swing arm attach area yet available for earlier frames.58 to 64 parts will fit into later 65 frames yet not all 65 later parts will fit into earlier ones, like oil tank and battery box.$ types of swingarms.#1 p/n 47500-58 w/casting reading ex2039 on outside of r/h arm,ex 2040 on l/h arm.#2 p/n 47500-58 in small casts. 47606-58 0n outside of r/h arm 47614-58 on ouside of l/h arm.Neither above have grease fittings from 58 to 61. #3 style,#47500-58 and has grease fittings at pivot area, and indentical to type #2 1962 yr. #4 style 63 to 72 #47500-63 swingarms are reinforced w/ribs at l/h axle clip and removed casting # from outside to inside. This arm also had hole drilled to relieve air, moisture at grease area. 1972 was last rounded arm.

Thanks for the info ,Since this isn't a step down frame and has no lock hole drilled out.And being it has E9 stamped on the top motor mount bracket ,would it be safe to figure it to be a 1969 frame ,the swing arm which has square tubing not round ,I'll get to another day .
NowI just went and had a look at the frame on my 59 pan I'm building ,I see no numbers stamped where they are on the one with E9 .Instead kinda up higher where the motor mount is welded to the frame ,like on the side of the frame ,buton the part of the motor mount that sorta wraps itself along the frame ,I see a definite number 8 stamped .and followed by a biger number 1 .The eight is much smaller and finer in width than the E9 on the other frame .The 1 is just a staight line ,and bigger than the 8 .This frame cameas part of a basket 59 .I knew the person who had bought this bike new ,he didn't own it at the time I bought it ,but he knew who had it ,and I bought it off him. Anyone know what 8 1 might mean ? What about 1958 ,would they have had a few extra 58 frames still kicking around that they used up .Thats if 8 1 may indicate 1958..

I had called the Harley factory regarding the colorsthey used in 59 ,and got a call back from them ( great ) the rep said E9 was a1969 frame .So I guess I have a 69 frame and swing arm ..Maybe I get a 69eng somewhere ..

Don't forget tha calendar years and model years aren't the same. A lot of parts were marked with the calendar year they were made instead of the model they were used on.
