Anyone that's done the LED swap on the Dyna S, or knows part #'s: are they 1157 all around? or 1156 in the rear?

 

Congradulations to all you smiling sobs, the LRS looks good and I'm having a tough time not thinking about it. I love my 2014 FXDWG; and have put some time & cash into making it the ride Im after but its not finished. Mag rims, 110 base, dual disk brakes up front, keeps rattling around in my head. So for those of you who traded in; I have 5k miles on my it as pictured below, any ball park idea of trade in value or range that I could expect? Just tyring to get an idea if it would be closer to 10k or 15k or what?

 

I heard at the last dealer show they were working on a storage door/box.

I know. It's painful. But I need the seat position. I was playing with the idea of sending it out for work, but realistically, what can they do? Can't cut down the pass seat, cause the riders seat is so high it'll just fold back I imagine. Oh well. I live with it. It is really comfortable. I had a "Rich's Custom" seat made for my old BMW, and this one is at least as comfortable. So I shouldn't complain.

Yep. When I bought the S, I was switching my Custom Dynamics LED's over and found that the rears were different. "Lucky" for me the dealer had the 1157's in stock. For $80something... Oh well.

I have three issues/questions I'm hoping someone can assist me with.
I'm interest in a two inch handlebar riser. I did not see one in the HD parts catalog. If I go aftermarket (what vendor do u recommend?) would I need to purchase longer clutch or brake wiring? Could I do this mod myself, with ease?

I installed a derby cover from HD and it leaked. I removed it and noticed the derby cover was flush and that it did not have a rubber seal like the original one. Anyone else experience this?

Has anyone tried a windshield bag from HD on a HD windshield? I'm going to the dealer today to see if a bag will fit in btw the windshield and the black mounting frame from the small stock windscreen. I removed my windscreen and added a HD windshield...

Outside of the aforementioned, I'm totally stoked with this bike. I may add a new pipe and dyno after the 1k mile service.
