I had an accident yesterday. I was going around 40-50 mph and this guy started crossing the street. I should have slowed down but instead tried to go behind him and didnt see this divider curb in the middle and head on went into it. Both my hands are sore, and my left knee bleed from four spots.
I dont have full coverage ( I know, couple of bad choices but let's not talk about that now). Just took couple of pix, the lights come on but when I push run nothing happens.
So, for those of you with any experience of rebuilding, or anyone with ideas, what would you do with the bike?
Damn! Sorry to hear that and I'm glad ur in one piece for the most part. That must have been a huge curb! Those forks are toast! Is ur wheel bent as well? Hope you get her fixed and running again soon.
Ouch, that's one hell of a hit. Just looking at the images my first though is damage to the head and frame. Have it professionally inspected; if the head is tweaked I'd consider it a total loss and part her out...
Good thing your here to write about it. Take a few days before even starting to get at it. Evaluate all the damage, frame etc before making the decision to repair. May not be worth fixing...
Glad to hear you're Ok ... the damage you see can be fixed ... it's the damage you don't see that will cause problems ... get it checked out, especially the frame and neck ... as other have said, it might be a total
