i'll agree here, black must be kept clean. that's all i've owned my entire life is black vehicals. six black cars, one black truck and one black bike right now. it's a bitch, but i like black.

what year is that camaro ? one of my cars is a 98 pontiac ws6 trans am. people think i'm nuts when i tell them i keep all 8 waxed all the time. it's a workout, but i enjoy them. none of them are my daily driver though. the daily drivers are white and silver, both gran prixs

I would NEVER allow my bike to be entirely disassembled to repair that chip. Which to me seems like the only way the OP is gonna be satisfied. But with enough monetary compensation, I would be OK with the repair. Its really no different than if you got hit riding and wound up with a scar on your elbow. The law allows for monetary compensation, not a new elbow. But I'm a lawyer, so I think in terms of making you whole, vs the motorcycle.
Tell them you want money or free stuff/services. Then fix it yourself.
