Morning Larry and Moldy
For several years there was a big Red Tail Hawk that would show up when I started running the bush hog in the grown up fields. He would just sit in a tree and wait as the unmown patches got smaller because he knew that sooner or later the rabbits would start to make a break for it!
Pretty awesome to watch it snag a rabbit
When I lived in Phoenix, I liked to take a trail bike out in the boonies early before the oven went on high heat. One morning I was watching the critter shift change as the sun peeked over the horizon, and a rabbit tried crossing a clear area but an owl came in at low level and snatched it. I've seen hawks do that a few times, but that was the only owl I've ever seen take a rabbit.

No? Guy in a replica just died flying one. Estrella Warbirds Museum is WWII and up stuff. I'll have to look around. Paso airport is a few miles from us. I can see the rotating light at night.
