Ha, you know there will be a 22 year old posting his 2018 club Lowrider in here by Christmas, asking you guys how to extend his cables to fit his new MX bars.
I'm just waiting to see what the purpose built community does with the new line...be interesting to see club style on the Fat Bob
I am already predicting the first shots based on three facts.
- Kurt Sutter was one of the black box recipients.
- He has a new show called Mayan MC slated the start later this year.
- The pilot episode was re-shot for reasons unknown.
I'd be willing to bet that at least a couple stock, and a couple modified 2018 bikes will feature in the show. I wouldn't be surprised if they are RSD or other custom-shop projects. HD would be stupid to not take advantage of this opportunity.
I know. **** SoA. Nobody wants to spend thousands of dollars modding their bike for performance, only to have the style of their bike associated with SoA, (the same thing happened with Easy Rider 40 years ago BTW), but the fact is, SoA featured (didn't invent) club style Dynas and created a huge marketing opportunity for HD.
I agree with the marketing gimmick, but I heard Mayans was a prequel of sorts. Would be weird to have the new 2018 Softail Fat Bob with LED light bar in "1999" haha.

They say it takes place 2-1/2 years after SoA. The bike marketing is just my prediction.

Hey, I'm 23...lol
...and we will promptly but politely show him the door because he doesn't own a Dyna
