What you need to remember about AZ, is there are many different elevations so temps vary accordingly. Lower elevations when its cool, high when its hot.....goldie

First off, Thank you for your service. I been to just about every state and I think AZ is the best. Well actually we spent 2 weeks in Maui and that was amazing. I would love to just pickup and move to AZ but the wife doesn't want to move away from her family here in WI. I do plan on retiring there though. Congrats and enjoy it

I was born and raised there. Incredibly beautiful. Also incredibly wet and windy.

People fall in love with the Oregon coast until they spend a winter there.

I decided to head down through Las Vegas to Needles Ca then head east to get a little bit of Route 66 during the first week of June. I was held up for a day in Helena by a snow storm that blew through the mountains of Montana. Las Vegas was hitting 110, the morning I left Needles the expected highs were over 125. I didn't think it could get that hot, dry heat or not, it's still hot!!! I made it as far as Santa Fe NM in 110-120f heat before I said the hell with this and hit the mountains of Colorado for a cooler ride back home. It was still a good trip but next time I think I'll look for cooler temps.

Pretty crappy looking scenery if you ask me. About as bad looking as Texas. Where is any lawn grass?

This is why I ride a Harley..........

Just got back from a 3 hour ride around the hills.
I love the Southwest, its the summers in the Southeast I hate.

Got some friends in Bandon, always damp with the sea wind coming in.
