Default Saddlebag lights and filler lights

I just bought a 18 RGU and thinking about running saddlebag filler lights and also the saddlebag lights. Anyone done this and is there a problem on the electrical system running both sets at same time? Thanks Bob

I have the bag lights and lights in my bag extensions. No issues. More than a few guys run what you're looking at. It's all good.

I run the Saddlebag lights. Whoever is doing the installation; be sure to line them up with the Saddlebag Lid NOT the top of the Saddlebag. The Saddlebag Lid almost never sits perfectly square on the Saddlebag. If you do not want the Saddlebag Lights to look just slightly crooked . . . do this!

I have the saddlebag lights from when I did the QD kit for the tour pack. Then I added Custom Dynamics Fillerz with the intention of removing the saddlebag lights. I left them on, figuring more the better. If people behind me don't see me now, I never stood a chance!

Just one more word.....IF you ever plan on installing saddle bag guards (the ones that wrap around the lower portion of the hard bags) the filler light strips will cover the same slots the guards need to use. I have those saddle bag guards so I just installed the horizontal LED saddle bag lights. (I also changed the stock fender mounted brake light to the LED version) I'm a big believer in lighting up the front and back for safety! Just my 2 cents.

Everything is LED, so no massive draw from the electrical system...you can also easily add a rear fender tip light, custom dynamics makes one. Its a simple plug and play...

Light em up and ride safe!!
