Makes a guy forget about having to change spring loaded cam chain tensioner shoes every once in a while

Full disclosure, I don't know anything more about it than what I just read. But, it kinda seems like HD has a harder time than everybody else when bringing in a new design. Maybe it's just perception and not a reality. For all I know that guy could have put a supercharger on it. I can say this for sure; 4 model years will pass before I'd even think about a new Harley, and it wouldn't be a Touring bike. Nobody is ramming linked brakes and/or ABS down my throat.

Yup, looks like the result of someone beating on it. I'm sure this one lone blown engine will result in rumors of HD having a blown engine problem....

Yep if it happens to one the rumor will be all M8s are total junk. Doesn't matter if 99.9% are fine, the rumor weasels that don't have an M8 but really want one will be on that like a monkey on a cupcake.

If it's the same story, it was on a dyno and off throttle after a run.

Probably lead to more, "I'm glad I kept my Twincam" etc stories, but big deal.
What is really bad is that I've never seen a Twincam explode the case like that... so this shows that it's possible in our new M8 world. Probable? Not sure, but definitely possible.
