What is your #1 fear while on your bike?
Beside getting your passenger hurt or worse, what potential safety concern carries the most weight for you? I know concerns vary, depending on where you are riding, such as in heavy traffic, deer country, weather, etc...
But which concern tops them all for you? I am pretty vigilant, and can avoid most situations, but what I fear most is a distracted cager plowing over me from behind while stopped. I'm always looking behind me for that potential, but I doubt I'd have the time to dump the bike and run by the time I realized that someone was about to morph me into a large bug on their grill or windshield. I suppose I could gun it and get hit by someone else in the intersection. What say you? Any tips?

I like a lot of attention coming to a stop........more lights on back the better.......flash the brake lights quite a bit so the guy behind me knows whats going on and keeping in eye on HIM......and keep space for me in front.
WAs in a cage in '95 and got rear ended at a light by a F250 doing 60+........he fell asleep in the middle of the day....saw him coming...
..still have nightmares about it.......I'd never live through it if I was on a bike.....
