Default Got the bike... now begins the work!

Well, My bike arrived on Monday from Hippy49's place. (What a guy!) I looked it over, and power washed it, and its in a lot better shape than I thought, really. I got a battery for it today, and put it in after work, this bad boy started right up! Its been sitting a couple years, I think, and it runs good! Gas smelled ok, I think he out some in, but, it sounds really great! I'm very excited! Got to change the triple tree, and service the forks while there, the rear brake is hanging up, throttle, and clutch cables, and check the tensioner shoes, and I'm back in the wind! WOOHoo!! I'll take some pics tomorrow, so we can see where its come from!, Its a bit banged up cosmetically, but easy stuff!

I sold my roadglide, (PIC) back 6-8 months ago, want to retire, and had bills that weren't going to go away soon, so I sold the bike, got pretty well even, and that seemed like that. A good friend here, had this 03 lowrider, that he purchased back from the insurance a while ago, and gave it to me!!! I got it shipped here from Kentucky, and I;m going to be back on the road! God is Good! Its a salvage title, but it works!! Amen!

I'm so glad to hear it. The karma of being a great person is paying off. Your going to love that lowrider and I'm looking forward to seeing you over in the dyna section. Ride safe.
