Default Here we go again! Rear Pods!

OK, so time to finally upgrade the junk in my stock rear pods on my 06 Ultra. Stock HK HU, Neo4 (on the way to replace my crapped out PBR300x2), BT 7.1 Titan II's up front. Just spent about 2 hours drilling down the threads and I'm still not sure which way to go. Someone also mentioned just installing the Hertz EV F165.5 LF drivers in the pods. Also looking at the Kappa 62.11l. Anything else I should consider? Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

There is a current thread going on about the TP pod speaks. Check it out.

Polk MM652 might be a good play here with CVO grills.

Read through that thread. Not much info there and discussing 14 and up bikes.

Correct. Are the 2014 pods the same as the 98-13 pods?

We've had success using the AD Design CX62 and a 1/2 inch spaced. Quite a few guys here running them.

Damn near the same but really damn same in concept. 6.5s with a fairly conservative magnet diameter and depth for drop ins, or moderately conservative backside if you use a spacer.

Trying to decide between the Kappa 62.11's or the Polk MM652's.

Work with Tes on this bro via PM. He has extensive knowledge in this audio world and has worked numerous angles on these TP speaks. I'm betting he will without pause tell u to roll with the Polk MM652.

Please keep us posted on your progress and also feedback on what ur ears think when install is complete regardless of what product u choose.

Thx bro!!!!
