There's tons of threads on the 21" wheel, many love it but others have gone a more conservative route - I went 18/18 on my Road King.

Nobody has ever done that before. Try using the Search Function in multiple sub-forums to get your answer.

Yes, exactly the same diameter up front, and the rear 180/55/18 is a little taller than the 180/65/16. The math works out to approx .6" taller (diameter), so that only adds .3" to the ride height and I don't even notice it.

The new Road King Special comes with the same 180/55/18 out back and a 130/60/19 up front, so I was comfortable in my decision to go 18/18 based on the fact that the MoCo uses similar sizes. I just wanted a little more sidewall up front as I live in San Francisco and the city roads suck. Fortunately, we have amazing coastal roads that aren't too far from the City.

Yes I have one and yes it does handle slower but these things have so little lean angle it doesn't really matter. My boards still throw sparks at stock ride height.

I think it made handling easier. It does raise the front end, so I did install the Progressive monotubes lowering kit.
