Default Black bars on a Chrome bike?

What do you think? I'm contemplating Factory 47 Evil T and they only come in black. Anybody done this? I'm not thinking it's a great idea.

I think it CAN be done... on certain bikes. For example, I saw RGS that was black and that hard candy gold color... he blacked out the handlebar, and it looks completely badass. Of course, it helped that his inner fairing and speedo nacelle were vivid black...

I went with black bars. With all the black accents and black inner fairing I think it works.

Are you thinking for the road king you have pictured?
Just my opinion, take it for what it is, but I think black or chrome, those bars are going to be to tall and way to narrow for that fat bike and will look really goofy.

Ida is to put them on the King in the picture. They may, in fact, be too narrow. Black bars on a non-blacked out King may not look right. Easier to blend them on a RG or bike with a fairing.

Any photos of a bike like mine with black bars???

With a smoked windshield the black bars would probably be OK. I agree that the set you are looking at are way too narrow for the profile of the bike.

Actually, I saw one yesterday... a black Road King, chromed out EXCEPT the 18" Carllini bars. Looked completely rad! Couldn't get a photo, sorry.

My anniversary is getting black bars even though it has lots of chrome. Why?
Factory hand controls = black
Factory inner fairing = black
Chrome bar that you can't keep clean = suck

It is going to get black bars, then black mirrors, black levers, and I found a place I can get copper clutch and brake lines. will be perfect.
