Default '18 Fat Bob vs. Low Rider S

Some interesting comparisons out there between these two bikes.

As far as engine performance, the 114 Fat Bob seems to be in the same ballpark at the 110 Low Rider S. For anyone who has ridden both, how does the suspension and lean angle compare?

Fat Bob has a little bigger contact patch on the road due to the fat tires, which should help with braking.

Anyone ridden both of these?

I own a LRS. As soon as the weather clears up here, I'm going to be going to the dealership and give the new bikes a ride. I'm more interested in the Softail Slim than the fat bob, but I'm going to give it a shot anyways.

yes. fat bob is better stock in of stock performance. lrs has more bells and whistles + aftermarket and hd support (right now). not as cramped as the fat bob either

I keep seeing everyone comparing the FatBob to the LRS and wonder why not compare it to the new low rider ?

I think its because there is no Software Low Rider 114, just the 107 whereas the Fat bob has a 114 model already.

Thanks

I have ridden both.

There is no comparison. What type of riding or style are you looking for?

New FB looks and sounds and rides like a motocross on steroids. The engine size is not as important in this comparison as the riding feel and style is.

The new FB is a loser, mark my words. It's not as good as a full sport bike and does not give you enough of a Harley feel, if at all. It's a product of a desperate brain storm at HD headquarters to come up with a design that clicks with both ends of the spectrum. But it does neither. Best it does is that it sparks some curiosity in showroom visitors who circle it a couple of time and then walk away. I am thinking this thread is doing the same thing. You never intend or will buy a 18 FB,

This FB production wont last for long.

Myself I dont care for the Fatbob just dont do it for me, I plan on keeping my lowrider for a long time.
Just wondered why no LR to LR compare.

If I did haft to go buy a new 18 the Fat Boy would be what I looked at first.
