Default 97 Electra Glide Classic

I purchased the bike a couple of weeks ago and would like to do an oil change and if recommended a transmission fluid change. The bike has, 40,000 miles and the engine has 3,000 miles. first question is which drain plugs do I remove, second question, what type and weight oil do I use for the crank case and which oil for the transmission? Any and all comments welcome. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

The manual will tell you to use 20/50 in the motor, straight 50 wt when temps are over 60f, and straight 60 wt when temps are over 80f. Their trans oil in the trans and their primary oil. Alot of people have found other oils that perform well at a lower cost. I personally use Valvoline 20/50 MC or, their VR-1 Racing oil in the motor. Rotella 15/40 wt in the primary, and 75/90 wt gear oil in the trans. 66k miles on my '05 Road King and it works for me.,,

my experience with EVO's is they don't handle syn oil well, the trans may do fine with syn or semi syn 75w90 gear oil but the motor gaskets tend to seep syn oil.
