Default Do you use a phone mount on your bike?

I've always just kept my phone in my pocket. If I needed nav, I'd just listen to the directions under my helmet. Part of that is I'd be sketched out about my phone falling off the mount, and the other thing is I really don't feel I need it. The ones written up on the HP look pretty solid, though. So do you use a phone mount? What do you like about it?

Yep. For tunes, nav, weather radar, and FP3 monitor. I use an old phone and feed it data using the hotspot on my daily carry phone, but the phone on the fairing has no SIM, so no calls or texts while riding.

Had a Garmin mount but no Garmin on my 11 limited when I bought it, and modified a phone case to clip to the Garmin mount.

Use Kuryakyn mount - holds garmin or Cell, nice unit but a little pricey, I use my cell a lot but when out of state & in the mountains I use the Garmin, cell signal goes in & out while the Garmin is solid pretty much no matter where you are. Never worry about either falling out of the holder - its pretty solid unit.

No phone. When I ride I enjoy the opportunity it presents to unplug & relax. When I reach my destination I return calls & texts.

Using an old phone/hot spot is an awesome idea.

Phone stays in my pocket. Riding is "me" time, and I don't need/want the distraction.

I have a Rammount on my Superglide, doesn't get used much though.
