Default Finished the bar and cruise cntrl install on my Breakout

OMG!

Well I took the bike out for a bit of a test ride to get gas (it took 4.8 gals) and the brakes work good. A tad mushy but I performed a series of panic stops and it stopped very good and it did not throw an ABS light. I have an appt. for Tues. to get the ABS bleed completed and turn on the cruise control.

The bars I installed (from a 2017 Fat Boy S) are the most comfortable I have ever set my mitts on! The riding position is so natural, like sitting at a piano! I could literally ride all day now. It is soooo much easier to control now that my arms are not stretched out!

I also finished installing the riders backrest and rack. I picked up a set of the "Set her Back" side plates from "Bitchin' Seats" http://www.bitchinseatstore.net/Brea...sissymount.htm that moves the passenger back 3-4 inches. My wife loves it, way more comfortable than stock.

I like how uncluttered and clean the lines of the bike are!
We may still do the HOG ride this weekend! We will see

It looks great! Big bonus for the creature comforts. How is the cruise control?

Looks great, I'm considering the cruse control too. I only needed 1-1/2" spacers with stock risers and bars thanks to my ape arms. Enjoy the ride.

I was curious of this as well. It definitely looks like you have plenty more brake line left than I ended up with on mine. Did your line come with the hard line (lower banjo) already attached??

Yes it was a complete line Banjo to banjo bolt! It could have been 1-2" shorter. Better to have and not need than to need and not have.

Bars look great & you'll definitely love the cruise ctrl...makes long treks more tolerable. Sweet look'n bike & nice mirror selfie.

Those bars do look good and comfortable. Have you thought about powder coating both triple trees?
