Default Lepera seat

Anyone had or have one? Was considering purchasing one, but know little about their quality, comfort etc. Any input would be appreciated.

Had a Barebones for about a year and got rid of it, it was like sitting on a 2x6.i went to a Danny Gray butt crack solo and love it.

I got one on the low rider. Looks cool and well made..Not comfortable for more than a couple hours "butt" you get used to it. So yeah I like it.

Some of the LePera seats are very comfortable (Maverick, etc). Most tend to go with the Bare Bones which is like sitting on a piece of plywood.

LePera has the highest quality & absolute BEST looking seats in the biz. However, you sacrifice comfort for those looks. I still have my Softail Cobra.

+1^^^^

Got a Bare Bones ('07-'09 Sportster version) myself. Nice looking and very well made. But, the thing is a torture device. I can only take 45 minutes to and hour on the Bare Bones. And the problem is compounding... Each time I take a break, I can go even less time before needing another (the Bare Bones wears you down).

One of the key ingredients - at least in my mind - to longer term comfort is seat width/area (for proper support/weight distribution). If the seat doesn't have it, then it likely isn't going to be comfortable. The Bare Bones (and some other LePera seats) doesn't have it.

Highest quality? You might want to reconsider that. Same goes for the best looking which I realize is subjective, but come on now. I think Danny gray makes a better seat than LePera. Better quality and at least as good looking. You are entitled to your opinion though.

I just put a custom all-leather Bare Bones on my FLS. I can ride all day long with that thing on.

Le Peras are extremely well made, and for custom orders, they are great to deal with.

Le Pera is top notch, but as others have said, you have to pick the model for your purpose. They have comfort seats, and minimalist seats.
