Default Unrestored 1938 Knucklehead hitting block

Apparently, this baby had only two owners over 80 years! The auction estimates are between 50 and 60k, and I'm really curious how much it'll fetch. If it were up to me, I'd restore the mechanicals, replace the tires and call it good. I think this bike is beautiful just the way she is! How much do you think it'll go for.
Check out more details here.

Pretty cool. Only 1 pic though? Reminds me of an old patrol bike.

Buddy of mine has a '38. Of course, his is restored. The upside to that is I've ridden next to him on trips covering several hundred miles. The bike runs flawlessly, although we never run much over 60 mph. It will do more, but then you're kind of beating on it.

MOST "restorations" are over-restored...things like added chrome, and super-shiny clear-coat paint don't belong on a bike like that.
