Default New brake pedal HELP!

Trying to replace stock brake pedal on my '15 Ultra Limited. Can't get pin out out because of Aftermarket FULL V&H exhaust(header pipes and Exhaust.)
Already removed footboard and rear board bracket.
Any suggestions?
If I take out the bolts on the rear brake res. will it move forward enough to get pin out? And brake pedal off? Without F'ing anything up?
Frustrated.........

Wouldn't it be easier to just pull the front head pipe/ shield to allow removal?

Only glanced but seems like an awful lot to remove just to get to them.....this was supposed to be a quick swap out

Believe me, it's not any easier with the stock exhaust. It's a bitch.

Not sure how much of that area the V&H exhaust blocks but when I changed my brake arm, I just loosened the heat shield clamps and was able to push it out of the way enough to slide the pin out. As said above though, it was still somewhat of a pain.

Its the actual head pipe that is in the way.....not the shield...

I recall doing this on mine. I believe it was in the instructions for the EZ Brake

Yep. You gotta take the master cylinder bolts out and you should be able to get the pin out.

When you do get it out, consider re-installing the pin backwards in case you ever need to do it again. There's less clearance issues and it's a whole lot easier working the cotter pin.

Yup. Took bolts out then was "easier" to do. Watched a law abiding Biker video on "tube" too.
Didn't think about cotter pin til AFTER I had it put back in..........oh well. Job done and looks awesome.....Billet oval cut chrome With Nostalgia foot pad, Nostaglia rider boards and passenger to match....With chrome passenger footboard cover:0)
CHROME BABY!!
Billet extended shifer tomorrow.......

Thanks HD forum members......
