Default Ultra Limited for a Heritage YUP !

I just traded my M8 Limited for a 2018 Heritage. I never rode a softail but the bike felt really comfortable on the showroom floor right so I took the plunge. I watched all the you tube videos and have been reading all you guys comments about these new softails and I think this will be a good purchase. I'ts still winter here therefore no test ride but I'm sure I'm gonna love it. At age 66 the Limited was starting to feel just too damn heavy any more, plus I don't really tour just ride the country roads here in Mi 8000 miles on my M8 last summer. I know I'm gonna miss playing my music the most but the light weight feel of this new bike really appeals to me, feels like getting back to my early riding days just me and the bike. They are delivering the bike today or tomorrow can't wait.

I think you'll enjoy the less weight on those country roads.

If you're a helmet wearer, a bluetooth headset like the SENA systems and a smartphone will get you your music back at a minimal cost.

Nice bike. You'll like the handling and power. I thought about doing that myself but I'm a Chrome addict. Just not into the blacked out look. Maybe in a few years they'll come out with a chromed version. Spring will be here in about 75 days. Maybe before. Enjoy the new ride.

I definitely agree with’Another Old Timer’ that the Heritage is the Harley sport tourer.

I’ve had two recent Ultra Limited, with a BMW GSA in between. Your new bike is a better geezer bike. Lighter, lower. I switched, too.

Not to hi-jack the thread, but you could get a Deluxe, then add bags.
