Not sure that you use loctite on those. I think new bolt assemblies are required with proper torgue and tightening sequence. Your service manual should be what you go by but I'm sure some one here has a manual and can tell you. Good luck.

I am not sure that I would use any type of Loc-Tite on my discs. But if I had to use some, it would definitely be the blue. You might want to remove the discs some day. The red is more for permanent applications and usually takes heat to remove the bolt.

You are working in the dark without a service manual. I could be wrong but I think you need to replace andproperly torque all of the bolts holding the rotor disk. Please check, your life may depend upon it.

Usually, brake rotors and the drive pulley are red permanent grade loctite. What came on them from the factory was a paint on dry permanent grade on the bolts. I bet if you look in the service manual, it says to replace bolts. Probably because they will have it on them as the dry spray on. (not necessarily that there is something wrong with them as long as you replace with the proper grade)
Usually, when I have removed them, the bolt head be it torix or hex on the drive pulley, it's pretty roughed up and will show rust shortly.

I just bought a set of used wheels, with chrome discs. I'm going to pull the discs, and reinstall. Just because I don't trust others work. So, what ever the procedure is, I'll follow.

If you are getting the rotors either chromed or polished you will want chromed bolts for them anyway. The last ones I bought had a spot of loctite already on the threads.
