I have the 2018 model, but as stated above.....no real difference. When I bought mine the dealer had no 17's or 18's in stock so I had to wait for the truck to come in with new shipment. I thought this was a little strange considering this salesman claimed they were the biggest Harley dealer in the world.

Well, I wouldn't mention you like the '17 color better, lol. Tell them you're looking to save money. Hard enough to get a decent discount on a trike, but I'd act like a new '17 shouldn't sell for anywhere near as much as an '18.
That being said, NADA Average Retail (for my zip code) is $36640 for a used '17. More than MSRP on a '18 two-tone. But for a lot of reasons, I think the dealer may want to move the '17, so try for a price break.
Good luck & ride safe!

I researched this a little before buying my new T/G (18 Anniversary), I couldn't find any thing that changed between the 17 and 18. Interestingly enough, the dealer I purchased it from had the two tone red (non-anniversary) for the same price as the Anniversary. When I asked why, they just shrugged their shoulders. I could have had a Black Tri for 2K less money, I just didn't want Black this time.

Congrats, Nice ride. I did read on another thread last night that the 18's are prewired for the Bluetooth module. Would be nice to cut the cord. If your not familiar with Trikes take your time they are a little different. I love mine. Live up towards Kingsport so maybe I will see you out there. Ride safe.

On the Blue Tooth issue, be careful and make sure you think it thru before you purchase anything, there are compatibility issues, H-D has once again used the "proprietary" method to force us to purchase the entire system thru them.
Sena makes both H-D and their own versions but you will have issues when you mix them. I am about to take a $200 hit on a new set of Sena 30K for restocking because they won't play in stereo with the H-D WHIM (Blue Tooth).
