Default Horns

Hi folks! Just wondering if anybody here has mounted air horns on their bike and if so what brand/model and where did you power them from and mount them? Want something LOUD to wake up the texters in their big SUVs before they run me over!

I put a Denali 2 piece air horn behind the fairing. The "trumpet" is mounted down low with the noisy end pointing toward the opening by the left fork and the compressor is mounted on top of the radio. I put the relay between the heads behind the throttle body and ran wires direct from the battery to the relay and then up to the fairing. I removed the cowbell and trimmed it's mounting tab off to expose the cylinders.

I mounted a chrome Stebel Nautilus in place of the cowbell using the cowbell's mounting bracket. I used a Stebel wiring kit SNWK-01 which connects to the battery and has an in-line fuse plus a relay. Horn rated at 139dB and it works great. You can buy on eBay, Amazon, etc. It is visible in my signature pic. PM me if you need any additional info or pics.

I tried that too but engine vibration destroyed two of the electric motors. On one some of the internal wires separated and on the other the entire lower portion of the motor fell off. This is why I mounted mine under the fairing the third time.

I did the Chrome Mini Beast Horn. I bought it used from another member on here. I do like it allot and pretty much plug and play, and no air hoses, or compressor. It is very LOUD too. I thought I had a picture once I mounted it, but I can't seem to find it. Here is a generic picture I found on the interwebs. I can't seem to find this model for sale anymore, all I saw black wrinkle finish, but I did not see this one in chrome.

Edit: It is this one:

Thanks guys.....I'm liking the mini-beast by custom dynamics. 136 decibel! Pretty much looks like plug n play too, like aclazer noted. It still comes in chrome too!

I had the WOLO Bad Boy air horn kit from Kuryakyn on my 14 Limited. I'll probably put one on my 16 RGU this spring. It comes with a mounting bracket to replace the stock horn and wire harness with relay. Very easy to install and is a lot louder than the stock horn. https://www.kuryakyn.com/products/39...-air-horn-kits

I have a CD Mini Beast. Love it. I’ve had a selection of Stebel horns. They seem to last 2-4 years, then kaput.
Mini Beast on a '16 Ultra
