If it were me, I’d go Polk’s all the way. If nothing else, for the ultra marine rating, and the weight reduction.

I like the Kappa's in the fairing and the Polks in the rear pods. Polks fade a little in the fairing. The kappa's do not.

Knowing what I know about you, from here, I trust your opinion 100%. But, I do have to ask; You did mean the MM652's, right? Not the 651's? Again, this is for informational purposes only. Not doubting you.

Also, OP, I can attest, from my own experience, the Kappa series speakers are very good. I had some in my lids, before I converted to 6x9's, and those little 5x7's (actually more like 6x8's) rocked!!!! The are very solidly built. And, at 2 ohms, very efficient. Just not rated for marine use. Here's my system, when I had the Kappa's....

Yes Sir! MM652's. Great speakers but they are not as crisp as the kappa's at 80 mph. When I talk about speakers fading out. My target audience are the guys who ride their sleds everyday and cruise at 75-80 mph. Not the parking lot guys. While the Polks will sound damn good in the garage and in town under 50 mph. The guys who roll on the freeway will be much happier with the Kappa's sitting in the fairing.
